For those of you who know Collin Bradbury he is over in Afghanistan right now on a 7 month tour. This is his 2nd time serving in the Middle East. I wanted to help him and the other guys that are over there right now. This Blog site is his Mother-in-law's site and she has 2 sons and a son-in-law on tour right now. One is in Afganistan(Collin), one is in Germany, and the other is in Iraq. Collin and his wife, Stephanie, are really good friends of our family. I always wondered how I could help the troops directly and this blog helped me out. I know there are a lot of other people that want to help out our guys. Maybe you don't know how to go about it...? Well here is a way keep up with her Blog and you can call and ask her questions if you want. Lets let the troops know that we love them and support them this holiday season! Hope everyone thinks about all the things that our guys are going through for our freedom! Help them help us stay free! http://wrappedinsupport.blogspot.com/

My Rock

So as most of you know I had the worst week of my life. That is hard to believe since I was in Cabo and on vacation but I lost the baby. I am not going to go into detail, obvoiously. I will say a couple things real quick though. I know women miscarry all the time and people might be saying I am making a huge deal out if it. It does happen all the time probably to 4 outta 5 women. And I am not looking for the pity... actually that is the last thing I want. The really weird part was leaving the States pregnant and coming home NOT. The fact is I wasn't in the U.S. and wasn't in the comfort of my own home, I literally left a part of me in Mexico, not being in my own home and my own county was the scariest part of the whole entire thing. Not being able to go to my Dr., not being able to call anyone really becuase the cost of it, not being able to talk to my mom, but for literally maybe 30 seconds and all I heard from her were sobs because she was so scared for me. It was so hard and so scary at one point I thought if this situation doesn't get better quick I am going to die here. That is what makes my experience different from most people. I will never take our benefits in the U.S. for granted again. Word of advise don't leave the U.S. when your pregnant you never know what is going to happen. Unless of course you or your signifcant other is in the military then it is like being in the States. Anyways the good thing that Rodney and I gained from such a horrible experience is our reltionship is stronger then ever before. I love that man so much it hurts! I couldn't have asked for a better man to be by my side while being in the most excrustiating pain that I have ever endured. All he cared about was me and if I was okay it was tearing him up to see me like that and it was tearing me up to see him like that. Marrying him was the best decision I have ever made and will ever make. He has my whole heart and all of me forever. Thank you so much Rodney for being my rock and being so strong. I just heard the quote form the kid off American Idol I really liked it. Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery & today is a gift. I hope to be able to remember that and apply it to my life. Love you all thank you for the support and concern.

Slideshow

I know this was a while ago I am just not sure that I was able to show many pictures to anyone. This was Maui 3/08 Rodney, Danelle, Kevin, Dustin, Alicia and I all stayed at Kihei Sands Condos. It is such a comfy little place right on Kihei Sands Beach, you can walk for miles. We love Maui so much we hope to be able to make many many more trips. This trip was especially neat because we got to see alot of the whales that migrate through there rioght from the beach! The lady that manages the condos told us that if we had come just a week sooner we would have seen a mother whale and her calf right there in the little bay area! That would have been awesome! I sure do wish I had her job! It was so much fun to be there with our friends and family. Dustin and I hadn't seen eachother in a while and it was such a great chance for Alicia and I to really get to know eachother. I love that girl so much! Anyways we had a great 9 days together and I can't wait to go to Hawaii again. Hopefully next time will be at Dustin and Alicia's house!! Just thought that some of you would enjoy these pictures. I know I do! It makes me want to go there now!
